Clergy and Celebrants

Do you need a clergy or celebrant?

During a time of loss, we understand that your family might not have someone to lead the services for your loved one. We have many professionals we work with who have backgrounds in numerous denominations and certifications. Contact us if you would like to be put in touch with any of the following clergy.

Reverend Tim Nelson

Reverend Tim is a Retired Board Certified Chaplain, an ordained Lutheran Minister, and a trained spiritual director. He spent 13 years leading congregations in North Dakota and Minnesota, as well as serving 8 years as a hospice chaplain in the Twin Cities. He supports people from a variety of faith traditions by providing meaningful memorial services. He holds his own tradition lightly in order to accompany others within the context of their spiritual needs.

Deacon Mick Humbert

Deacon Humbert is a retired Chaplain who served the Hastings community through his work at Regina Care Center and the Oakdale community through his involvement at Guardian Angels Catholic ChurchHe will assist families, regardless of spiritual tradition, to develop a service that celebrates the life of a loved one. A service of remembrance, reverence, and ritual will be developed to honor the loved one and respect the wishes of family and friends.

He is an avid outdoorsman who loves fishing. He is the perfect choice for families wishing to have a little humor brought into their funeral service.

Father Steve Prokop

offering his services to primarily alienated or "fallen away" Catholics. His welcoming personality is appreciated by those families he has helped in the past and he wants to continue to help others.

in Hastings and a retired Methodist pastor. Outside of his work with the residents of Augustana, he spends his extra time guiding people through a time of loss as they plan funeral services.
